BEIJING-- The high-performance, affordable artificial intelligence just recently by Chinese startup DeepSeek has developed a wave of attention around the world. DeepSeek-R1 appears to use performance that rivals options from the U.S., but the business states it was established at less than a tenth of the cost of those models.
